Always On devices use energy ALL the time, even when off!!

Always On is a feature of many appliances. While they aren’t being used and turned off, they still use small amounts of energy to be ready to start up. Appliances such as TVs, computers, washing machines and kitchen tools may have this feature. The energy used by Always On devices costs approximately $19 billion nationally! An average household pays around $165 every year for Always On.
